New Musical Director
required
Applications are invited for
the position of Musical Director that will become
vacant in November 2009. Stroud Choral
Society has been at the centre of choral music in
Stroud since 1834 and now provides an opportunity
for well over 100 people in the Stroud Valleys to
experience the joy of singing wonderful choral
works. Under Ben Nicholas' talented leadership we
have performed a number of very successful
concerts covering a range of repertoire and often
to sell-out audiences. We have also performed at
the Cheltenham Music Festival and Tewkesbury
Abbey, and this November will join with Monmouth
Choral Society for a performance of Beethoven's
Missa Solemnis at Cheltenham Town Hall.
