An indexer since 1990, Christine is also an experienced copyeditor and proofreader. She uses Macrex, dedicated software for indexers.
Christine has also written and published Sound the Trumpet: Alfred Deller, Stour Music and the Early Music Revival, available here
She has an Open University honours degree in music, Renaissance history, 14th-century Italian art, Latin, social science and urban studies in addition to an earlier London University external degree in German, Russian and law. She also has wide experience of local government at London borough, district and parish council level. For relaxation, she travels in German-speaking countries and watches Kent play county cricket.
Christine is semi-retired but is happy to work on small projects making use of her skills. She recently became Chief Copyeditor for the Ricardian Bulletin, a quarterly magazine for members of the Richard III Society.
