Favourite Holiday Venues

"Macon area" If you are looking for a gîte holiday in France, this is one of our favourite areas. We particularly like the Charolles district. It is the home of Charolais cattle, but the wine is grown not far away, and local restaurateurs are expert in combining the two.

Seven Days in Danubia I spent a year in eager anticipation of this holiday, and was delighted to find my expectations exceeded. Congratulations, Martin Randall Travel! We travelled on board a cruise-ship on the River Danube between Passau, on the German--Austrian border, and Komarom in Hungary, and went to ten excellent concerts during the week. In 2008 my elder daughter and I cycled along the Danube from Passau to Grein (Upper Austria) and in 2009 we toured the lakes in the Salzkammergut in the same way. We booked both with the Holiday Fellowship .
