Christine Headley is a copyeditor/indexer/proofreader who lives in the parish of Rodborough, Stroud, in Gloucestershire, near the Severn Estuary in the west of England. She is married and has two daughters.

Christine Headley has been involved in publishing for most of her working life. She has an eclectic range of interests - classical music, Renaissance history and cricket, to name a few. She is an eager user of e-mail, subscribes to a number of discussion groups and owns a few too.
Christine was born in Ashford, in Kent, and comes from a large extended family. Although she has no professional relationship with the firm, Headley Brothers was set up by two of her great-uncles, whose descendants still run the business.
